Little Mix star Perrie Edwards and footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are officially married. The couple shared exclusive details and photos with British Vogue from their destination wedding in Portugal.
Where did Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain get married?
The wedding took place in the quiet village of Estoi, Faro, Portugal. The ceremony was held in a stunning white 15th-century Catholic church, with flower-lined steps. Perrie told Vogue: "I love the church. It’s grand and beautiful but it’s also intimate." She added: "Alex isn’t a crier—he doesn’t get emotional that often. But when he turned around at the altar and saw me for the first time, we both just cried our eyes out." Colourful smoke flares erupted as they exited the church.
Who designed Perrie's wedding dress?
Perrie wore three different wedding dresses. For the ceremony, she chose a classic white lace dress by Dana Harel with a long train and veil. For the first dance, she changed into a crystal-embellished floor-length dress by Galia Lahav with Jimmy Choo heels. For the evening party, she wore a custom lace minidress from Annie's Ibiza with a dramatic headdress, saying: "I wanted to change for the evening so I could dance and be free."
Did Jade and Leigh-Anne go to Perrie's wedding?
Yes, both Jade and Leigh-Anne attended. The wedding band played Little Mix's 'Wings' and En Vogue's 'Don't Let Go (Love)'. Jade left early for Primavera Sound, but Leigh-Anne danced with Perrie. Perrie said: "We were absolutely going off to En Vogue… We still remembered all of our harmonies and the choreography!"
The couple have been together for 10 years and got engaged in June 2022. Their children, son Axel (4) and daughter Alanis (5 months), were also present. Perrie described the day as "the best day of my life – up there with the births of my children."
