Tina Rad, a 25-year-old reality star from Newcastle, has revealed that she secretly kissed fellow dumped Islander Tommy Murphy just hours after leaving the Love Island villa. The confession came during an appearance on the Spill With Will podcast, where she detailed the brief romantic encounter that took place after cameras stopped rolling.
Tina's Dumping and the Mallorca Apartment
Tina was dumped from series 13 after failing to form a lasting connection with Aidan Murphy, despite an initial spark. Her exit followed a dramatic twist midway through the series when Ellie Chadwick and Lorenzo Alessi were tasked with eliminating one boy and one girl. After being axed, Tina and Tommy Murphy were sent to a cast apartment in Mallorca, where dumped Islanders typically stay before returning to the UK.
According to Tina, she and Tommy shared the flat for a night, and despite no longer being on the show, they decided to explore a potential romance. “Me and him said we weren’t going to tell anyone,” she said on the podcast, hosted by William Grande. “So basically, when we were in the apartment, we were just getting to know each other to see if we liked each other. It was night time and I was lonely, so I ran into his room and I kissed him.”
A Short-Lived Romance
Tina clarified that the kiss did not lead to a lasting relationship. The pair quickly realised they were not feeling a romantic connection, and their encounter fizzled out as fast as it began. “I was like, actually we’re not feeling this, and now we’re just friends,” she explained. Despite their brief flirtation in the apartment, Tina and Tommy never coupled up during their time on the show. However, Tina admitted she had known Tommy before entering the villa, hinting that they had been messaging each other on social media and knew each other from the club circuit.
Reflections on Her Love Island Experience
Since returning to Newcastle, Tina has had time to reflect on her time in the villa. She described the experience as an “emotional rollercoaster” but said she loved every moment. “It was so good. The highlight was just the girls and how nice they were,” she said. “Everything, really. The full thing was a highlight. I do not regret doing it. I loved it.”
Tina’s revelation adds to the behind-the-scenes gossip from the 2026 series, which has already seen several dramatic exits and secret feuds among contestants. The Love Island 2026 final is set to air soon, with viewers eagerly awaiting the outcome.
