Music at Nantwen, a classical music project based on a remote hillside in North Pembrokeshire, has announced that tickets are almost sold out for its final event of the year. The summer concert was moved to a later date this year to avoid clashing with the National Eisteddfod.
Performers and Programme
Violinists Haim Choi and David Lopez will join violists Patricia Reinoso and Kasia Ziminska alongside cellist Daniel Davies for the performance. The concert programme features works by Edmund Finnis, Dilys Elwyn Edwards, Vaughan Williams, and Mozart.
Funding and Community Impact
The project receives no private, business, or arts funding, relying instead on loyal audiences and a fair ticket price to keep live classical music thriving in rural Wales. Organisers use these ticket sales to ensure high-quality live classical performances can continue in the local community.
