Sharon Osbourne Chooses Robbie Williams to Lead All-Star Tribute to Ozzy at BRIT Awards 2026

The BRIT Awards 2026 will feature a poignant tribute to the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, with his wife Sharon Osbourne personally selecting a star-studded supergroup to perform in his honor. The event, set for Saturday, February 28 at Manchester's Co-Op Live arena, will posthumously award Ozzy the BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his immense impact on music.

Supergroup Line-Up and Performance Details

Robbie Williams will take center stage as the frontman for this special tribute, leading a band of renowned musicians. The ensemble includes keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos—who filled in for Bill Ward during Black Sabbath's reunion tour—and long-time Ozzy collaborator Zakk Wylde. The performance will close the show with a unique arrangement of No More Tears, the title track from Ozzy's 1991 album.

This tribute follows the success of previous honors, such as the Back To The Beginning show at Villa Park Stadium, where artists gathered to celebrate Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Notably, a cover of Changes by a supergroup fronted by Yungblud at that event went on to win the Best Rock Performance award at the Grammys on February 1, 2026.

Robbie Williams' Connection to Black Sabbath

Robbie Williams has previously shown deep respect for Black Sabbath's legacy, featuring guitarist Tony Iommi on his single Rocket. For the music video, Williams made a special trip to Digbeth to film scenes with Iommi, highlighting his admiration for the band's influence.

Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed.
