The BBC has officially started unveiling the celebrity line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2026, with three stars confirmed so far. The popular dance competition will return to screens in September, but excitement is already building as the first contestants are announced.

New Hosts and Professional Dancers

This year brings significant changes to the beloved Saturday night programme. Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe will take over as presenters from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Additionally, the professional dancer line-up has seen a major shake-up, with several fan-favourites departing and new faces joining the show.

Lacey Turner

Best known for her role as Stacey Slater in EastEnders, Lacey Turner left the soap at the end of 2025. She expressed her excitement: "I am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and can't quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill!"

Dani Dyer

Love Island star Dani Dyer will return to the ballroom after being forced to withdraw from the 2025 series due to an injury before the contest began. She shared her joy: "I am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September! I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one! I'm just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it!"

Delta Goodrem

Singer Delta Goodrem recently represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest, delivering one of the country's finest performances. She said: "I've been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career - from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world. There is, however, one stage I've never stepped onto, and that is the ballroom floor! I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can't wait to get started!"

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
