Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, hosts of the popular Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch, found themselves celebrating a wave of baby news from their guests on the June 7 episode. Lovejoy humorously suggested that the show might need to start a kids' creche after multiple guests shared updates about their growing families.
Guests Share Their New Additions
The episode featured a lineup including Fearne Cotton, Gladiator star Matt Morsia, Samantha Barks, Sam C Wilson, Adrian Wilson, and singer Talia Mar. Talia, who welcomed a baby girl with Sidemen member Simon Minter in July of the previous year, was among those who shared their joy. The hosts congratulated her and asked about her experience as a new mother.
Talia responded, "It's a thing, it's good," adding that she "can't complain" because her daughter sleeps well. She also revealed her baby's music preferences, noting a taste for R&B, Christina Aguilera, and musical theatre.
Samantha Barks, a West End star, also shared that she has an 11-month-old daughter and described taking her on tour as "one of the most magical parts" of her life. Actor Sam C Wilson joined the conversation, revealing he became a new father 14 months ago and is also planning to get married in a few months. "It's been a hell of a year," he said.
Tim Lovejoy's Lighthearted Suggestion
With so many guests discussing their children, Tim Lovejoy joked that Sunday Brunch should consider starting a children's creche. The comment, reported by the Mirror, added a lighthearted moment to the show's family-centric discussions.
