West Midlands Winner: The Bull's Head in Craswall
In the West Midlands, the Pub and Bar of the Year award went to The Bull's Head in Craswall. This venue, known for its excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, is a historic landmark in the Black Mountains. It serves lunch and dinner, features a beer garden and bar, and offers overnight stays in cabins.
East Midlands Winner: The Tollemache Arms
In the East Midlands, The Tollemache Arms in Buckminster secured the top spot. Described as a classic country inn, it offers classic pub grub, sandwiches, and bar snacks made from fresh, local produce. It also provides overnight accommodation.
National Pub and Bar of the Year: The Gunton Arms
The overall Pub and Bar of the Year was named as The Gunton Arms in Norfolk. Located in a historic park near Cromer, this traditional pub opened in 2011 by Ivor Braka. Chef Stuart Tattersall uses local ingredients for the menu. Stuart, who runs the pub with his wife Simone, said: "I'm gobsmacked. Absolutely incredible to be mentioned in the same breath as so many of these people at the awards. It's a credit to the team at The Gunton and the great county of Norfolk. Our guests have really supported us and been really kind to us, so after 15 years to get this is a massive achievement." The venue also offers 16 bedrooms for overnight guests.
