Vyve, a coffee shop that was 'mobbed' when it opened its first branch in Glasgow this year, is set to open in Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre. The chain has confirmed its first West Midlands store, bringing specialty coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha, and Brazilian açaí bowls to the venue.
Menu and Offerings
Vyve's menu features drinks 'without artificial additives or preservatives', inspired by modern wellness and trending flavours. The brand says products are 'crafted for Gen Z and Millennials looking for healthier choices without compromising on taste'. Customers can choose from more than 20 topping options for açaí and yoghurt bowls, including granola, fresh fruit, agave, and pistachio creme.
Expansion Plans
Before the Bullring opening, a branch will open at Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre, with Essex also on the list of new locations. Bullring has confirmed the opening, advising customers to stay tuned for a launch date and location. There are currently empty units within Grand Central, on Link Street, and in the Bullring that Vyve could occupy.
Customer Reviews
Reviewing the Glasgow spot, visitor Kevin McMonigle wrote: 'Great service and fantastic product! This place has been mobbed since opening, was waiting for the buzz to die down before I tried but they're always mobbed! Finally tried one and oh my, best açai bowls in town and a pretty decent iced matcha to go with it! Will defo be back and dragging folk with me!' Luca Buono added: 'Best açaí I have had in the UK would highly recommend if you're in the area. Very friendly staff and good coffee also.'
Impact on Bullring
The opening fills a gap left by the closure of Oakberry last year, which previously offered açaí bowls. Vyve's arrival is expected to attract health-conscious shoppers and boost footfall in the Bullring. Further details on the opening date and exact unit will be announced later.
