I'm A Celeb 2025: Fans Slam 'Too Soft' Trials and Lack of Drama
I'm A Celeb fans 'struggling' over easy trials and no drama

Viewers of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! have launched a fierce critique of the 2025 series, branding it boring and accusing producers of going 'too soft' on the famous contestants.

Fans 'Struggling' with Easy Trials

Audiences tuning in have expressed disappointment with the current run of Bushtucker Trials, hosted by Ant and Dec. Many have taken to social media to state they are finding it a challenge to watch, labelling the tasks 'easy' and lacking the nail-biting tension of previous seasons.

They point to successes like Jack Osbourne securing all 12 stars in an underwater task in record time, and Vogue Williams triumphing in a slimy inflatable race. Similarly, Shona McGarty won eight meals in a pirate-themed 'Walk The Plank' challenge, only missing one star.

This perceived ease has led to calls for significantly tougher obstacle courses, with fans criticising the show's executives for a 'lacklustre' approach to challenge design.

Missing the Fiery Clashes

The criticism isn't limited to the physical trials. Viewers are also lamenting the complete absence of dramatic arguments and personality clashes within the camp.

This year's star-studded line-up, including Ruby Wax, Aitch, Angry Ginge, Shona McGarty, and Martin Kemp, have reportedly got on 'like a house on fire', describing themselves as a family. Apart from minor grumbles, no major rows have erupted, leading some to compare the 25th series episodes to a series of 'therapy sessions'.

Viewers Demand a Return to Form

The vocal feedback from fans on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) is clear. One viewer demanded: 'Bring back the trials where they all starve and argue as a result next year #ImACeleb.'

Another questioned: 'Why've they made the challenges so easy this year in comparison to past seasons?' while others called for the return of classic elements like secret agent missions and dingo dollar challenges.

A fourth viewer summarised the sentiment, fuming: 'This show has gone too soft, no doubt it will be even easier next year as well #imaceleb.'

With the series hurtling towards its finale on Sunday 7th December, some are hoping that increased hunger and fatigue might yet spark the explosive drama they crave. For now, however, the consensus among a vocal section of the fanbase is that the jungle has lost its bite.
