Six counties in England are set to experience a 'mini heatwave' with temperatures potentially exceeding 30C, as the West Midlands prepares for warm conditions.

According to forecasting site Netweather, sizzling conditions are expected to arrive on Friday, June 19. Kent looks set to be the hottest area, with highs of 34C, while London follows closely at 32C.
Other southern counties, including Essex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, will also bask in sunshine with temperatures past the 30C mark.
Regional Breakdown
Beyond the south, the East and West Midlands will enjoy warm conditions, while parts of the north reach the mid-20s. Scotland, however, will remain far cooler, with temperatures in the teens on Friday.
Met Office Warning
Met Office meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey warned that despite the soaring highs, humidity could bring overcast skies for many. 'By Friday there is potential for 30C across parts of south-eastern England,' he stated.
He added: 'People will certainly be noticing how muggy it starts to feel during the second half of this weekend, and some quite uncomfortable nights for sleeping well, with overnight temperatures in the high teens across south-eastern areas of England.'

Health Alerts
The Met Office has stopped short of predicting a heatwave, as the anticipated temperatures will not persist for three consecutive days. However, yellow heat health alerts have been issued by the UK Health Security Agency for the East Midlands, east of England, London, and the South East for Friday, June 19.
A spokesperson said: 'Relatively warm and humid nights are also on the cards—not as expected as what we had a few weeks ago, because it won't be wall-to-wall sunshine like that, but nevertheless it is going to be turning warmer.'
