The Cardigan River & Food Festival is set to return to the town on Saturday, August 15, marking its 26th year. Organised by Menter Aberteifi, the event has grown from a small gathering on Prince Charles Quay into one of the most anticipated dates on the local calendar, drawing thousands of visitors annually.
What to Expect
The main festival site will be located in the central Quay Street car park, adjacent to the river. At its heart is the Food Court marquee, surrounded by street food vendors and cocktail bars. Outdoor seating for 120 people will be available, allowing visitors to enjoy live performances on the main stage, including local musicians, street performers, and cooking demonstrations throughout the day.
Welsh Produce and Workshops
The upper-level Food Market will feature dozens of stalls, almost exclusively selling Welsh-made produce. Guests can also participate in interactive workshops and informative presentations designed for both adults and children, offering a hands-on experience of local food culture.
