A wonderful collection of classic and modern cars gathered in Cardiff recently to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The special Cars and Coffee event was held at the Bellway office in St Mellons to support the homebuilder's national charity partner. Generous car owners made donations throughout the day, raising a fantastic total of £2,030.
Refreshments and Enthusiasm
Visitors were able to enjoy refreshments provided by Brewed at 90 Degrees while admiring the vehicles. More than 100 people turned up to show their support and share their passion for motoring.
A Diverse Range of Vehicles
The event featured a spectacular range of vehicles from every decade since the 1960s. Guests enjoyed seeing British classics like MG and Lotus, Japanese favourites from Honda, and exotic Italian cars from Lamborghini.
Simon Hughes, from Bellway, said: “We had a fantastic turnout, and some beautiful vehicles for people to see, including cars from every decade from the 1960s to the present day – British classics such as MG, TVR and Lotus, Japanese favourites from Honda, Toyota and Nissan and Italian exotica from Lamborghini and Ferrari. “Lots of attendees were asking when the next event is going to be so it would be fantastic if this becomes a favourite in the petrolheads calendar. “This is the second year we have held this event, and what makes it particularly rewarding to organise is that it also helps to support such a deserving charity.”
Bellway has supported Cancer Research UK for the past 10 years and raised more than £5m for the vital charity.
