Staff and contractors from Miller Homes West Midlands have raised more than £19,000 for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust at the housebuilder's third annual charity golf day, held at The Warwickshire golf course. The event, which took place over the summer, set a new fundraising record for the company's charitable efforts.
A Record-Breaking Fundraiser
The 18-hole tournament featured a professional demonstration and prizes for the best individual drives, attracting players from across the region. Since its inception three years ago, the annual golf day has generated tens of thousands of pounds for the charity, which supports families facing childhood cancer in the West Midlands.
Darren Humphreys, managing director of Miller Homes West Midlands, expressed his gratitude: "It was another fantastic event by excellent hosts at The Warwickshire this summer for our now-annual Miller Homes golf day to raise money for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust."
Supporting Families in Need
The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, established a decade ago, aims to ensure no family has to face a childhood cancer diagnosis alone. The funds raised will directly support the charity's work across the region, including providing emotional and practical assistance to affected families.
Humphreys highlighted the company's long-standing commitment: "We have seen the amazing work being carried out by Grace Kelly for many years, and we feel very fortunate and proud to be able to give back to the charity through our fundraising efforts, both in our annual golf events and other charitable activities throughout the year."
Thanks to Participants and Organisers
The managing director also acknowledged the contributions of all involved: "I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in the event, all the staff at The Warwickshire and for everyone behind the scenes who helped make the event a success once more and aided us in raising a new record total for Grace Kelly."
The event underscores the housebuilder's ongoing partnership with the charity, which has included various fundraising activities throughout the year. For more information about the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust and its services, visit the charity's website at www.gkcct.org.
