Three people were taken to hospital following a serious two-car collision on Ashleigh Road in Solihull yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 12.40pm on Thursday, August 20, prompting a rapid response from emergency services.
Paramedics treated a woman at the scene for serious injuries, while a second woman and a man were assessed for potentially serious injuries. All three patients were subsequently transported to Heartlands Hospital for further medical care.
Emergency Response and Road Closure
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched three ambulances to the scene after receiving reports of the collision at 12.42pm. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that two cars had been involved in the crash. A section of Ashleigh Road was sealed off to allow emergency responders to work safely and to facilitate the treatment of the injured.
Photographs taken at the scene showed a silver Peugeot crashed against a street sign, indicating the force of the impact. Police officers were also in attendance to manage the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told BirminghamLive: "At 12.42pm yesterday, we were called to reports of a collision on Ashleigh Road in Solihull. We sent three ambulances to the scene. On arrival, crews found two cars had been involved in a collision."
The spokesperson added: "A woman was treated for serious injuries. A second woman and a man were treated for potentially serious injuries before all three patients were taken to Heartlands Hospital."
