Muslim staff members working at Stepping Hill Hospital and in local community NHS services gathered for a special Iftar feast at the hospital to mark the approaching end of Ramadan. Hospital Trust Thanks Staff for Hard Work During Ramadan
Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, which operates the hospital and community NHS services, organised the banquet as a gesture of gratitude. The trust aimed to acknowledge the continued hard work and commitment of Muslim staff throughout the fasting period of Ramadan. Over 350 Muslim employees, including doctors, nurses, radiographers, pharmacists, administrators, and pathology staff, contribute to the trust's operations.

The event included words of celebration from the chaplaincy and spiritual care team, as well as trust board members and executives.
