McLaren Racing Partners with Global for 2026 F1 Season

McLaren Racing has announced a new multi-year partnership with Global, a leading media and entertainment company. As part of the agreement, Global will join the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team as an Official Race Partner and Official Audio Race Partner for selected races starting from the 2026 season.

The news was revealed live on air during Heart Breakfast, as hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden visited the McLaren Technology Centre. Global Player, the free official Heart app, will serve as the Official Race Partner and Official Audio Race Partner for several major races this season. The Global logo will appear on the McLaren Racing headsets worn by the team on the pit wall, as well as those of drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden were invited to the McLaren Technology Centre to spend time with Lando Norris. The visit was captured on video, showcasing the interaction between the Heart Breakfast hosts and the McLaren driver.

Under the multi-year agreement, Global will be integrated into the team's race-week activities at iconic circuits including Monaco, Silverstone, and other key European races. This partnership brings together two organizations united by a shared commitment to performance, precision, and the ability to reach audiences at scale.

On selected race weekends, Global Player branding will feature on race-team headsets worn by McLaren personnel and team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Additionally, branding will extend across digital assets, delivering prominent visibility for Global across McLaren's global fanbase.
