Four people were arrested after police discovered a suspected chop shop in Birmingham, with one man handed over to immigration officers. The arrests followed a report of a stolen car from Solihull on Sunday, August 16.
Police discovery on Cato Street
Officers received a report of a stolen car from Solihull on Sunday, August 16. The vehicle was found inside a premises on Cato Street, Birmingham, where traffic officers arrested four people on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
During searches of the premises, officers found vehicles stripped of parts along with stolen parts. Further searches were carried out at homes where over a dozen car keys for suspected stolen cars were discovered.
Arrests and bail details
Two men aged 32, a 27-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested. Two men and the boy were bailed pending further enquiries into the investigation. The 27-year-old man was passed onto immigration officers.
