Lloyds Bank is offering customers a £220 student account deal, comprising £100 cash and £120 in Deliveroo vouchers. To receive the cash, customers must open or switch an existing Lloyds account to a Student Account and pay in at least £500 by 30 October 2026. The £100 cash credit will be paid into the Student Account in November.
Eligibility for Second-Year Students
On X, formerly Twitter, a customer asked: "Are second year students eligible for the £100 and £120 Deliveroo offer for student account?" Lloyds replied: "Yes, second-year students can be eligible for the £100 cash offer and Deliveroo vouchers, provided they meet the qualifying criteria."
The customer then asked: "When it asks for my year of study I'll be in year two in September. Do I put first year or second for current year of study?" Lloyds, which has branches in Birmingham, responded: "If you're going into your second year in September, please select second year as your year of study when completing the application."
How to Qualify for the £100 Cash Offer
To qualify for the cash offer, customers must open or change to a new Student Account and pay in at least £500 by 30 October 2026. This can be done in multiple payments and can include a student loan. Once the £500 threshold is met, the £100 cash credit will be deposited into the Student Account in November.
Earning Deliveroo Vouchers
After meeting the cash offer criteria, customers can earn £20 Deliveroo vouchers for each month they make 20 or more valid debit card transactions between November and April. For example, if a customer makes 20 valid debit card transactions in November, they will receive a £20 voucher via email in December. A total of six £20 vouchers can be earned, amounting to £120 in total.
Vouchers must be used within 30 days of receipt. To be eligible for the Deliveroo vouchers, customers must first meet the criteria for the £100 cash offer.
