In an official statement, Royal Mail explained, “In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive. We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”

Despite these localized problems, Royal Mail confirmed that its broader transport network remains operational as usual. The company reported that its air and road services have adhered to schedules, with all mail processed and dispatched on time from mail centres over the past 24 hours.
