Kieran Hayler, the former husband of media personality Katie Price, has entered not guilty pleas to serious sexual offence charges during a court appearance.
Court Appearance and Charges
The 38-year-old appeared at Lewes Crown Court in East Sussex on Wednesday, 17 January. He faces a total of four charges: three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. The alleged victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was reported to be 13 years old at the time of the alleged incidents.
Hayler, from West Sussex, was dressed in a large navy coat over a white shirt and grey tie for the hearing. His legal team formally entered not guilty pleas to all charges on his behalf.
Background of the Allegations
The alleged offences are said to have occurred at an address in West Sussex in 2016. It has been clarified that the alleged victim is not a member of Hayler’s or Price’s extended families.
Hayler, who has a significant social media following of 195,000 on Instagram, remains on bail with strict conditions. A primary condition of his bail is that he must not contact the alleged victim.
Future Court Proceedings
The case is now progressing towards trial. A pre-trial review has been scheduled for 23 April 2026. Following this, a one-week trial is set to take place in October 2026.
Hayler was married to former glamour model and television star Katie Price in 2013. The couple have since divorced.
