Detective Sergeant Adam Alcock, from the serious collision investigation unit, said: “We have specialist officers supporting the man’s family during this very difficult time. We’re appealing for people who may have information which can assist us to please get in touch.”
He added: “Collisions on the road have devastating consequences, and my priority is to get answers for his family. I know from CCTV that there were other cars and witnesses at the location at the time of the collision, and I would appeal for those people to make contact with us.”
