Thierry Katsukunya has found a new club quickly following his departure from Aston Villa. The 20-year-old defender left Villa Park at the end of his contract earlier this week and has already signed for Championship side Cardiff City.
Move to Cardiff City's Under-21s
The centre-back will link up with the club's Under-21s side. Speaking to Cardiff City TV, Katsukunya expressed his excitement: "I'm so excited to join this great club, especially straight after promotion as well. I can't wait to get started." He added, "I would describe myself as being calm and composed on the ball, a natural leader and someone who plays for the badge."
Opportunities at Cardiff
Katsukunya highlighted the opportunities at Cardiff as a key factor in his decision: "Seeing the opportunities here, from an outside perspective, I just want to be a part of it and be one of those names that have made it through. It's just so exciting."
