Aston Villa secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in a tense West Midlands derby at Villa Park on Saturday, with Boubacar Kamara's spectacular second-half strike proving the difference.

After 67 minutes of largely untidy football from both sides, Boubacar Kamara produced a moment of pure quality that lit up Villa Park. The France international controlled John McGinn's fizzed pass with one touch before unleashing a venomous left-footed strike that arrowed into the top right-hand corner from 20 yards out.
