Blackpool Boxer Callum Fahy Eyes Title After Comeback Win

Blackpool boxer Callum Fahy is brimming with optimism for 2026 following his third professional victory, marking a triumphant return from a hand injury sustained last summer. This bout also represented his debut under the banner of Black Flash Promotions, adding a new chapter to his burgeoning career.

A Solid Performance Against a Tough Opponent

"The bout went well," Callum stated. "I faced a serious opponent in Jack Swallow from Derbyshire, who has himself defeated formidable fighters across his nine paid bouts. I proved I had no ring rust and systematically wore him down."

Reflecting on his recent setback, he added, "The injury had held me back a bit, so I'm keen to have as many matches as possible this year. My goal is to move up to six-round contests as soon as I can, then eight, positioning myself for an area title fight, likely at middleweight where I feel most comfortable."

Driven by Ambition and Determination

"After my debut nearly a year ago, I said I'd only shown a teaser of my capabilities, and that remains true," Callum continued. "I'm eager to face boxers as hungry for success as I am. Like any dedicated fighter, I want to demonstrate my toughness, courage, and the physical and mental resilience required for the ultimate twelve-round battles every professional craves."

Emphasising his commitment, he said, "Boxing professionally is all I've ever wanted. At just 21, I'm fully immersed in the professional game and ranked 59th out of 115 British middleweights. I'm determined to put Blackpool boxing more firmly on the map where it belongs."

Training Regime and Community Involvement

Born and raised in Blackpool, the former Unity Academy student resides in Claremont. He splits his training between the Collyhurst and Moston Gym, under the guidance of his manager and former professional Pat Barrett, and Combat Gym in Kirkham with Billy Patterson.

Barrett expressed enthusiasm for Callum's potential: "Callum's hand was raised after a solid performance on the Liverpool show, where he displayed grit, power, and skill in every round. Returning from a hand injury, there was simply no stopping him."

Outside the ring, Callum works as a lifeguard and enjoys engaging with young people. He also offers personal training sessions and has aspirations to contribute to the community. "I'd like to get into schools to teach basic boxing techniques," he explained. "Combat sports are excellent for building confidence, resilience, and improving both physical and mental health. Students who excel could be directed to one of Blackpool's many local clubs."

He extended an invitation: "Any teachers interested in me potentially running a club or assisting at an activity day this summer can get in touch. I have all the requisite checks in place."

Seeking Sponsorship for Future Success

To reach the highest levels of the sport, Callum requires sufficient sponsorship to focus exclusively on his boxing career. He expressed gratitude to his current sponsors, including MID Digital Solutions, O2 Business, Enexus Energy, @bp_boxing_, @shawshotmedia, Cal Howarth Gardening, JT massage.com, and Magic Club Claremont.

Callum concluded with a call to action: "New potential sponsors and interested school staff are encouraged to contact me via Instagram @callumfahy10, Facebook at Callum Fahy, or email callumfahy10@gmail.com. Keep an eye out for my name as I climb through the middleweight ranks."
