More than 2,000 people are expected to attend Off Grid: Chapter One, a brand new one-day festival taking place in woodlands near Sutton Coldfield over the Bank Holiday weekend. The event is scheduled for Sunday August 30, 2026, at the NPF Adventure Park woodland site in Bassetts Pole.
The festival promises 11 hours of music across three stages, alongside food and drink offerings and wellbeing activities. Organisers describe the event as 'the first chapter' of what they hope will become an annual tradition.
Three stages and a packed line-up
Off Grid is a collaboration between well-known Birmingham nightlife brands and venues DnB Collective, Lab 11 and Rock n Rolla. The line-up includes Birmingham native house star Hannah Wants, Ibiza favourite Sam Divine, crossover dance music icon Example, and US garage producer Todd Edwards. A secret special guest is also yet to be announced.
Jack Young, co-producer of Off Grid, said: “In less than a week’s time, our beautifully wild woodland site - less than half an hour from Birmingham and minutes from Sutton Coldfield - will play host to some of the biggest names in UK bassline, house, and garage.”
Wellness focus and on-site activities
As the name suggests, the festival is designed around taking time out from phones and social media to enjoy music and wellness experiences. Organisers say it is the first festival of its type in the region.
Jack explained: “We’re expecting over 2,000 electronic music and wellness fans to celebrate the end of summer in a slightly different way - stepping away from the distraction of notifications and posts to really be immersed in sounds and social experiences. Festivals ask a lot of your body; we wanted to change that from year one. Off Grid is about being present — and our collaboration with The Healthy Shop as well as other partners means everyone will have the opportunities to stop for a moment, and reset or recharge.”
The festival team has collaborated with curated wellness retailer The Healthy Shop to create a dedicated on-site wellness space. Qualified massage therapists will be working throughout the day, and there will be red light therapy, fresh fruit and hydration packs designed to keep the dancefloor moving from first drop to last.
Getting there and tickets
The NPF Adventure Park woodland site is located just 12 miles from Birmingham city centre, taking less than 30 minutes to drive down the A38, traffic permitting. It is also accessible via the 110 bus from Birmingham.
Tickets are available via Skiddle. Off Grid has also connected with those who work in the NHS, education and the charity sector, offering free and discounted tickets.
This year's Wellness Zone is the first instalment of a plan that organisers hope will grow with the festival. Off Grid: Chapter Two is set for 2027, with the ambition of a full Wellness Village — a weekend of activities where festival-goers can slow down between sets with forest meditation, breathwork and ice baths in the woodland.
