Next Steps Adult Day Centre is set to open its doors to the community on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11am to 2pm at 2 Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle. The venue, formerly The Plough Pub and Restaurant, has been completely refurbished to create a safe, welcoming space for adults with learning and physical disabilities across Lancashire.
Transforming a Local Landmark
The former pub has been transformed into a centre offering a wide range of activities, social opportunities, life skills support, and therapeutic sessions. Personal care tailored to individual needs is also provided, with everything designed to promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
Director's Vision
Nadya Parveen, director of Next Steps, said: "We are so proud to breathe new life into this well-known local building and turn it into a place where people feel valued, supported, and part of something special. Next Steps is all about choice, opportunity, and community — we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel at home and know that every day brings new possibilities."

The official opening day is open to everyone, including service users, families, carers, local residents, and professionals.
