Aston Villa Europa League Parade Route in Birmingham

Thousands of Aston Villa fans are expected to line the streets of Birmingham city centre today as the club celebrates its Europa League triumph. On May 21, the club’s Europa League-winning squad will take part in a celebratory open-top bus parade through some of the city’s most recognisable roads.

Parade Route Details

The victory procession will begin in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter at the junction of Vyse Street and Branston Street, where supporters are likely to gather early to catch their first glimpse of the trophy and players. From there, the team bus will travel the full length of Branston Street before turning right onto Warstone Lane. The route will then briefly head back up part of Vyse Street as the parade winds through the historic Jewellery Quarter district before exiting via Powell Street.

The celebrations will continue along Summerhill Road and Sand Pits, giving supporters outside the city core a chance to join the festivities as the convoy heads towards Birmingham’s inner ring road network. The route will then loop around the Five Ways area, taking in sections of Lyon Queensway, Sheepcote Street and St Vincent Street. Organisers expect heavy crowds throughout the afternoon, with fans anticipated to pack pavements, bridges and viewing points along the circuit.

What Fans Should Know

The parade marks one of the biggest public celebrations in Birmingham for years, with Aston Villa ending a long wait for major continental silverware. Fans are being encouraged to arrive early, plan travel in advance and use public transport where possible due to expected road closures and congestion across the city centre.
