Sources close to the group and the venue say the Etihad is now being readied for a triumphant 2027 homecoming, following the record‐breaking reunion shows of 2025. Additional dates are anticipated, with industry chatter pointing to a return to Knebworth and bookmakers already shortening odds on a Glastonbury headline appearance next year.
Venue Ready for Music
Manchester City's Etihad Stadium welcomed back live music this summer following a three-year hiatus while expansion works on the North Stand were completed. The venue proved to be a breathtaking backdrop for two major artists this summer, with The Weeknd and Take That each performing to tens of thousands of fans during June and July. The MEN has additionally been informed by a separate source that a luxury city centre hotel has been entirely booked out from the end of May through June for the arrival of the band and their touring entourage. This appears to lend further weight to suggestions that dates spanning May and June have already been secured for the tour.

Traditionally staged across a weekend in June, the event will take place in July for the very first time next year, on 10 and 11 July. However, the MEN understands that Heaton Park is not currently being considered as a venue for the upcoming Oasis tour.
