A man in his 60s remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital after a collision in Alrewas, Staffordshire. The cyclist was involved in a crash with a white Fiat Panda on Daisy Lane on Wednesday, 5 August.
Staffordshire Police were called at 9.40am following reports of the collision. Officers attended alongside colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance. The cyclist, who suffered serious injuries, was treated at the scene before being flown to hospital by air ambulance.
Police Investigation and Appeal
The driver of the Fiat Panda remained at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries, a spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said. Officers spoke to a number of people at the scene and are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
In a statement, the spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a cyclist suffered serious injuries in Alrewas. We were called at 9.40am on Wednesday (5 August) to Daisy Lane following reports of a collision. A white Fiat Panda and a cyclist were involved."

The spokesperson added: "The cyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance. He remains in a critical but stable condition. The driver of the Fiat remained at the scene and is assisting with our inquiries."
