Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a caravan park in Bridgnorth on Tuesday evening to battle a significant blaze. The fire, which broke out at around 6:30 PM, involved multiple caravans and threatened to spread to nearby structures.
Multiple Crews Deployed
Several fire engines from Bridgnorth, Telford, and other surrounding stations were dispatched to the scene. Crews worked tirelessly to contain the flames and prevent them from reaching adjacent properties. A water bowser was also brought in to support the firefighting efforts.
Cause Under Investigation
As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown. An investigation has been launched to determine how the blaze started. No injuries have been reported, but the affected caravans have been severely damaged. Residents in the vicinity were advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke.
The fire service remained at the scene for several hours to dampen down hotspots and ensure the fire was fully extinguished. Local authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
