Belgian Man Arrested Following Serious M6 Toll Collision on Good Friday
Staffordshire Police have issued an update after a serious crash on the M6 Toll resulted in a man being arrested. The incident occurred on Good Friday, April 3, leading to the closure of a stretch of the northbound carriageway.

The collision took place at approximately 6am on the northbound carriageway between junctions T6 and T7, just before Norton Canes services. It involved a black Peugeot Partner van, which was registered in Belgium.
A passenger in the van, a 30-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was treated at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
Arrest and Police Investigation
A 23-year-old man from Belgium has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail as police enquiries continue.
