Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of football legend David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, has had his driving licence officially revoked following his second speeding offence.
The Speeding Incident
The 20-year-old received his latest speeding ticket on September 2 after being caught driving at 24 mph in a 20 mph zone. This marked his second such offence within two years of passing his driving test in September 2023.
Cruz took to Instagram at the time to comment on the incident, writing: "just got done for doing 24 in a 20." He added his personal assessment of the situation with: "Games gone. Myself, I feel very safe," quoting dialogue from the 2025 Wes Anderson film The Phoenician Scheme.
From Celebration to Penalty
The revocation comes just two years after Cruz proudly celebrated passing his driving test by sharing images from a celebratory trip through a McDonald's drive-thru. His father David had enthusiastically supported this milestone, writing on social media: "Well done mate, love you x."
Since obtaining his licence, Cruz had invested in several luxury vehicles including a £150,000 black Porsche 911, a Land Rover, and a 1980s Mercedes.
Family Contrasts
This driving penalty arrives just weeks after Cruz's father received a significant honour. David Beckham was knighted by King Charles at Windsor Castle for his services to football and charity, with particular recognition of his work with UNICEF.
During the award ceremony, David expressed his pride, stating: "I couldn't be prouder. People know how patriotic I am - I love my country. I've always said how important the monarchy is to my family."
The knighthood ceremony saw David accompanied by his Spice Girls wife Victoria and his parents Sandra and David, creating a stark contrast to his son's recent driving difficulties.
