Firefighters are currently at the scene of a blaze in Kings Heath, Birmingham, with residents being warned to stay away from the area.
West Midlands Fire Service confirmed that two crews were dispatched to Kimpton Close in Kings Heath this evening. The crews, from Kings Norton and Billesley fire stations, are actively tackling the fire.
In a social media post, the fire service urged the public to avoid the vicinity if possible. The post read: "Crews from Kings Norton and Billesley are in attendance at Kimpton Close, Kings Heath, Birmingham, where they have responded to a fire. Please avoid the area, where possible."
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and further details are expected to be released as the operation continues.
