All traffic on the M6 southbound has been halted after a collision near Walsall this morning. The incident occurred between J10A for the M54 and J10 for the Black Country Route.

According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, all vehicles were stopped at around 8am on Wednesday, June 3. Motorists are being temporarily held while emergency services deal with the situation.

An update from Inrix states: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M6 southbound from J10A M54 to J10 A454 Black Country Route (Wolverhampton/Walsall). All traffic stopped at around 08:00."
