Emergency services, including paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service, arrived at the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision. The motorcyclist, a man, was treated for minor injuries at the scene. Medics provided self-care advice and discharged him without requiring hospital transport.

West Midlands Roads took to social media platform X at 8:39 am to warn motorists of major disruption caused by the crash. The authority urged drivers to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible to avoid delays.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service commented: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Norton Road in Pelsall at 8.12 am and sent an ambulance to the scene. On arrival, crews found a car and a motorbike had been involved in a collision. The motorcyclist, a man, was treated for minor injuries before being given self-care advice and discharged at the scene."
