A closure will apply from the junction with The Street for about 40 meters northeast, together with a temporary suspension of the existing one-way restriction for the duration of the works. Hammonds Road, Little Baddow and Sandon (Essex County Council)
A rolling closure will affect approximately 3,375 meters from about 65 meters northwest of the junction with Maldon Road, progressing northwesterly then northeasterly. Works are planned from Monday, June 22, 2026, for five days under permits EP201EH2405550 and EP201EH2402139 to facilitate carriageway patching by Essex County Council. A 70-meter section will be closed around 380 meters northwest then northeast of the junction with Nathans Lane, heading northeast. Diversion: Margaretting Road, Margaretting Road Roundabout, A414, Widford Roundabout, A414, B1002, Wantz Road, Writtle Road, and back to Margaretting Road.
North Hill, Little Baddow (Openreach)
A 75-meter section about 545 meters northwest then north of the junction with Jarvis Field will be closed in a northeasterly direction. Works are due to commence on Thursday, June 25, 2026, for two days under permit BC411001WGNGMH0N for telegraph pole replacement and associated cabling by Openreach Limited. Diversion: North Hill, Worlds End, Mowden Hall Lane, B1137, B1019, B1018, A414, Maldon Bypass, Fullbridge, Market Hill, High Street, London Road, Old London Road, A414, Little Baddow Road, and back to North Hill.
Woodhouse Lane and North Court Road, Little Waltham (The Electricity Network Company Limited)
Closures will apply to Woodhouse Lane for about 85 meters from its junction with North Court Road, and to North Court Road for about 135 meters from its junction with Woodhouse Lane. Works are scheduled from Monday, June 22, 2026, for seven days under permits N5004P102020N0023544-R4 and N5004P102020N0023544-R5 for ducting and cabling by The Electricity Network Company Limited. Diversion: Woodhouse Lane, Main Road, Main Road Roundabout, Hospital Approach, and North Court Road.
