Tributes left after fatal Kingswinford crash kills motorcyclist

A young motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in Kingswinford, with tributes left at the scene including a teddy bear reading '#1 Dad'. The crash occurred on Kidderminster Road at the junction of Lodge Lane at around 9.30pm on June 19.

Despite the best efforts of medics, the biker, who was in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Bouquets of flowers and a teddy bear were placed at the roadside, with one note reading: 'Rest easy Nijah. The world is a cruel place.' Another said: 'To Fluff, I can't believe you're gone.'

Police investigation and witness appeal

West Midlands Police confirmed the driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. A spokesperson said: 'We are appealing for information after a man sadly died in a collision in Kingswinford. We were called to Kidderminster Road at the junction of Lodge Lane at around 9.30pm to reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car. A motorcyclist was found seriously injured. Officers attended alongside ambulance colleagues but despite their best efforts, the man in his 20s sadly died at the scene. His family has been informed and are being supported at this difficult time.'
