Witness Appeal After Motorcyclist Injured in A448 Crash

Police have launched a public appeal for information following a serious road traffic collision on a major Worcestershire route that left a motorcyclist with significant injuries.

Serious Incident on Busy Main Road

The collision occurred on the A448 Kidderminster Road in the village of Chaddesley Corbett at approximately 4.30pm on Sunday, January 25. Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to the scene after reports of a crash involving a black Honda motorbike and a white Volvo EX30.

Road Closure and Emergency Response

Following the impact, the A448 was closed in both directions to allow emergency crews to attend to the injured and for initial investigations to take place. The closure caused significant disruption to local traffic on this key arterial road.

The motorcyclist, identified as a man in his twenties, sustained serious injuries in the collision. He was transported by ambulance to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, a major trauma centre, for urgent medical treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed by authorities.

West Mercia Police have now issued a formal appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward with information. Officers are particularly interested in speaking to motorists who may have captured dashcam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.
