A woman was rushed to hospital following a four-car crash near a Solihull pub that forced the closure of a major route. The incident occurred on Clopton Crescent in Fordbridge, opposite the Centurion pub, at approximately 7:50 PM on Tuesday, May 5.
Police sealed off the road after the collision. Paramedics treated a woman at the scene before transporting her to Heartlands Hospital in Bordesley Green with injuries that are not believed to be serious.
A local resident, posting in a Facebook neighborhood group, reported: "Incident by Centurion pub. Two ambulances, multiple police cars and road closed off."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service stated: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Clopton Crescent in Fordbridge on Tuesday at around 7:50 PM. An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found four cars had been involved in a collision. A woman was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and conveyed to Heartlands Hospital."
