RATS Animal Rescue, a self-funded charity in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, is launching a new charity shop in Ware on April 1. The shop will raise funds for veterinary care and rehoming of abandoned animals, with a community-focused opening event.
Olympic gold medalist Christine Ohuruogu recently conducted an exclusive training session for Ware Joggers at Wodson Park, featuring drills and a unique Fartlek workout, with plans for a return visit later this year.
Ware Joggers finish second in cross country league, with individual awards for top performers. The club now opens entries for a 10-week beginners' running course starting in March 2026 at Wodson Park, Ware.
