Drayton Manor Theme Park is set to transform into a vibrant hub of Korean pop culture this February half term with a dedicated K-Pop week. The event promises to fill the Staffordshire park with high-energy performances and interactive experiences for the whole family.
What's On During The K-Pop Celebration
The special event will run from Saturday, February 14 to Monday, February 23, perfectly timed for the school holidays. Visitors can expect a full schedule of activities designed to immerse guests in the world of K-Pop.
Highlights include live concerts, interactive dance workshops where fans can learn the moves, and fancy dress competitions. Colourful pop-up experiences will be scattered throughout the park, building up to a grand finale each day featuring a concert combined with a water show on the park's lake.
Ticket Options And Park Access
Organisers have provided two main ticket options to cater for different visitors. A standard day ticket, which includes access to all the K-Pop activities, starts from £22.90. This price also grants entry to the rest of the park's attractions, including:
- Thomas Land and its 25 rides.
- The 15-acre zoo, home to over 500 animals like the recent arrival, Raffles the Binturong.
- The popular Dino Trail.
- All other daily family-friendly entertainment.
For those solely interested in the evening spectacle, a 'concert only' ticket is available for £19.90. This allows entrance to the park from 4pm, specifically for the K-Pop concert and the accompanying lake show.
A Unique Family Experience
Victoria Lynn, Managing Director of Drayton Manor, expressed her excitement about the unique offering. "We're thrilled to bring K-Pop to Drayton Manor this February," she said. "This is a fantastic opportunity for families to experience something truly unique – combining the energy and creativity of K-Pop alongside Thomas Land and our zoo, giving our guests the best value day out this half term."
The event is positioned as a major draw for families looking for an action-packed day out during the break, blending the park's traditional attractions with the global phenomenon of K-Pop music and dance.
