Jet2 Bid for a Break: Birmingham flyers urged to bid before September 11
Jet2 Bid for a Break: act before September 11

Jet2 has brought back its Bid for a Break campaign, giving customers the chance to secure a family holiday for as little as a few pennies. The airline, which operates flights from Birmingham, is running the promotion until 10am on Friday, September 11.

This year, the UK's largest tour operator has introduced a new twist: the winning bidder will not only secure a break for their bid price but will also choose between two destinations – Corfu or La Palma, a new Jet2 destination launched earlier this year.

How the bidding works

Customers can bid on a seven-night all-inclusive getaway for two adults and two children at the 4+ star Aeolos Beach Resort in Corfu, or a seven-night half-board holiday for two adults and two children at the 4-star Melia La Palma in La Palma.

Bidding opened at 10am on Friday, September 4, and closes at 10am on Friday, September 11. To participate, customers must download the free Jet2 mobile app, go to the Offers section, select Bid for a Break, and enter their chosen bid amount to the nearest penny. The person who is the only one to bid the lowest amount will win the holiday and pay exactly that price.

What Jet2 says about the campaign

David Hills, chief customer officer at Jet2, said: “We are delighted to be bringing back Bid for a Break once again. The campaign has become a real customer favourite over the years, and we know how much excitement it generates every time it returns.

“With the chance to secure a fantastic family holiday for as little as a few pennies, we're expecting plenty of customers to get involved. It's a fun and unique way to reward holidaymakers, and with previous bids being incredibly low, every penny really does count. We wish everyone the very best of luck and can't wait to see who secures this year’s Bid for a Break bargain.”

How to get the app

The Jet2 mobile app is available for free download from the App Store or Google Play. It allows users to search, book, and manage ATOL-protected holidays and award-winning flights in one place.

The campaign gives customers until 10am on September 11 to submit their bids, with the winner announced after the closing time.
