Aldi's 2026 Fund: Weekly £100 Vouchers for Parents

Aldi Relaunches Popular Parent Support Scheme with Weekly £100 Voucher Giveaway

Supermarket giant Aldi has announced the return of its highly successful Mamia New Parent Fund for a second consecutive year, launching an ambitious weekly giveaway programme throughout 2026. The initiative will see one fortunate family receive £100 in Aldi vouchers every single week of the coming year, creating a substantial total prize fund of £5,200 available to support parents across the United Kingdom.

Substantial Financial Support for Growing Families

The comprehensive voucher scheme is specifically designed to assist parents with the considerable expenses associated with raising young children. Recipients can utilise their £100 weekly vouchers to purchase essential items including nappies, baby wipes, infant food products, and toiletries from Aldi's extensive Mamia range. According to recent Aldi consumer data analysis, parents could potentially save approximately £380 during their baby's first year simply by switching from premium branded products to Aldi's own Mamia nappy line.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, emphasised the supermarket's commitment to supporting families during financially challenging periods. "We recognise that welcoming a new baby brings tremendous happiness, but it can also introduce unexpected financial pressures at a time when budgeting becomes particularly crucial," she explained. "The overwhelming response to last year's inaugural Fund demonstrated precisely how much parents value this practical assistance, with thousands of applications received nationwide. That's why we're delighted to reintroduce the Mamia New Parent Fund for 2026, continuing to provide families with meaningful support for their everyday essential purchases."

Application Process and Supermarket Recognition

New parents interested in applying for the weekly voucher scheme must submit their entry via email to Aldi, including a receipt as evidence of a recent Mamia product purchase. Each week throughout 2026, one family will be randomly selected to receive the £100 Aldi voucher, which can be redeemed at any Aldi store across the UK. This initiative follows Aldi's recent industry recognition, having been awarded the prestigious Supermarket of the Year title by Mother & Baby magazine, further cementing its reputation as a family-friendly retailer.

Promoting Functional Fitness Through Everyday Activities

In a separate but complementary development, Aldi has collaborated with three-time World's Strongest Woman Rebecca Roberts to highlight how routine activities like grocery shopping can effectively double as practical workout sessions. The partnership culminated in Roberts demonstrating remarkable strength by pulling a 17.8-tonne lorry loaded with Aldi's protein and fitness Specialbuys range.

Roberts explained the fitness philosophy behind the campaign: "When I'm pulling a heavy lorry, success depends not just on raw power but on control, balance, and consistent repetition. Carrying a full Aldi shopping load home employs exactly the same kind of functional strength principles, just adapted to fit seamlessly into everyday life. Developing functional strength alongside maintaining adequate protein intake forms the foundation of my competition training, but these principles benefit anyone seeking to build muscle mass and improve overall fitness."

This fitness messaging arrives alongside revealing survey data indicating that over 35% of British adults struggle to find regular exercise time, with nearly half (44%) admitting they never visit gyms due to factors including cost concerns (38%), motivation challenges (24%), and time limitations (15%). Aldi's initiative therefore addresses both financial wellbeing and practical health considerations for modern families.
