Shoppers across the UK can secure a stunning real Christmas tree for just £20 in Tesco's latest festive bargain, but the offer comes with crucial conditions and a strict deadline.
Limited Time Christmas Tree Bargain
Tesco has launched an exclusive half-price deal on real Christmas trees that could see families saving 50% on their festive centrepiece. The supermarket giant is offering five to six feet tall Nordman Fir trees for only £20, slashed from their usual £40 price tag. This special offer is available exclusively to Tesco Clubcard holders and runs for exactly one month, ending on December 14.
The money-saving opportunity was highlighted by consumer champion Martin Lewis on his ITV programme, The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, during its Tuesday, November 11 broadcast. Tesco has confirmed the promotion will continue either until the December 14 cutoff date or while stocks last, whichever comes first.
Multiple Tree Options Available
For those with smaller living spaces or preferring a more compact tree, Tesco hasn't forgotten you. The retailer is also offering smaller Nordman Firs standing at 2.5ft to 3.5ft tall for just £15 with a Clubcard, reduced from £30. Additionally, the supermarket is selling a premium Finest range of trees complete with integrated lights, measuring between 3.5ft to 4.5ft in height, for £20.
Shoppers must remember to scan their Clubcard at the checkout to access these discounted prices. Failure to present the loyalty card means paying the full price for your chosen tree.
Strategic Shopping Advice
Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert website has offered strategic advice for potential buyers. While there's no immediate need to rush out and purchase a tree today, they strongly advise against leaving your purchase until the last minute. The website states: "As the offer is on for a few weeks, you could wait to get this deal, though of course you risk trees becoming unavailable."
Tesco has revealed that when they ran this identical promotion last year, most trees had been sold by the end of November. However, in response to anticipated demand, the supermarket has increased its stock levels by 50% compared to last year's offering.
The deal coincides with an important reminder about expiring Clubcard vouchers. Tesco has warned that £16.5 million worth of savings are set to expire at the end of November. Vouchers, which remain valid for two years, must be exchanged before midnight on Sunday, November 30.
Shama Wilson, Tesco's Group Membership and Loyalty Director, emphasised: "We don't want anyone to miss out on making the most of their Tesco Clubcard Vouchers, and with some great new offers with Clubcard Rewards this really is a great time to use those vouchers up."
She highlighted the significant value at stake, noting that if all expiring vouchers were used for Tesco Tuesdays, it would be enough to secure 6.6 million cinema tickets at Cineworld, or if exchanged with Pizza Express, could provide £49.5 million worth of reward codes towards meals.
