Topshop Returns to High Street in Major John Lewis Partnership
Topshop is making a significant return to the UK high street, launching in 32 John Lewis department stores from Tuesday, including the Solihull branch. This marks a revival for the iconic brand, which collapsed into administration five years ago and closed its last standalone shops four years ago.
Exclusive Partnership with John Lewis
The partnership brings Topshop back to high streets across the UK, offering customers immediate access to popular items. Michelle Wilson, managing director of Topshop, stated, "This is about making it easier for customers to access the Topshop and Topman pieces they love. From our cult denim to new season footwear, you can see it, feel it and take it home the same day." She added that partnering with John Lewis ensures the level of service customers expect.
Accelerating Fashion Ambition
This launch is part of John Lewis's efforts to drive growth under its £800 million transformation plan, led by managing director Peter Ruis. He said, "This moment marks a significant acceleration of our fashion ambition at John Lewis.
