Birmingham Brothers Face Drug Conspiracy Court Hearing

Two brothers from Birmingham have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to sell crack cocaine and heroin. Aamir Hussain, 31, and his 19-year-old brother, Eeaman Hussain, were charged with the drug offences on June 2 and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court for their first hearing on June 3.

Police Operation in Sparkbrook

West Midlands Police said the charges were brought following enforcement action across Sparkbrook, where officers made separate arrests. A force spokesperson stated: "We've arrested and charged two Birmingham brothers with conspiracy to sell crack cocaine and heroin. Aamir Hussain, 31, and Eeaman Hussain, 19, were appearing at Birmingham Magistrates' Court today for a first hearing."

The arrests were made after enforcement action in the Sparkbrook area. Four arrests were executed at a property on Lyncroft Road, while a fifth arrest occurred at an address at The Poplars. Three other men have been bailed with strict conditions as investigations continue.

Recovered Items and Operation Target

During the operation, police recovered drugs, thousands of pounds in cash, and weapons including a knife and a hammer. The force is currently running Operation Target, which takes a defiant stand against serious and organised crime. Officers use local intelligence, seize goods, carry out warrants, and target offenders as part of the ongoing crackdown.
