Final Call for Cambridge Race for Life 2026 at Jesus Green
Cambridge Race for Life 2026: Final Sign-Up Call

The countdown is officially on for people in Cambridge to sign up for the much-loved Race for Life event. The popular fundraiser will return to the city to raise vital money for life-saving cancer research. The event will take place at Jesus Green on June 21, 2026.

People of all ages and abilities are being invited to take part and can choose between a 5k or a 10k route. Money raised from the event will help scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.

Participants can walk, jog, or run the course, and everyone is welcome to stay for a picnic afterward to enjoy the community atmosphere.

Jamila Tajah said: “We’re making a final call to people across the Cambridge area to go all in against cancer and help fund life-saving research. There is a race for everyone and we mean everyone.

“For those who enjoy a challenge, our 10k events will again be chip timed, perfect for anyone wanting to track their progress or aim for a personal best. But Race for Life is non-competitive. People can walk, jog or run and go at their own pace.

“Sadly nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime but all of us can support the research that will beat it. We’re proud that Race for Life has had such a positive impact. Every pound raised supports our work, which has helped double cancer survival in the UK over the last 50 years.

“Race for Life powers progress and it relies on a whole community of people coming together, united by a common purpose to beat cancer. What matters most is showing up together.”

More than 10 million people have taken part in the event since it first began back in 1994. Anyone who would like to enter the event can find out more details by visiting the Race for Life website.
