A charity clay pigeon shoot held in Cheshire has raised an impressive £150,000 for two local charities. The Ollerton Grange Charity Clay Shoot took place on Friday, June 5, 2026, organised by philanthropist and businessman Ged Mason OBE. The event welcomed supporters, friends and guests for a day of fundraising and sport.
Funds Split Between Two Charities
Proceeds from the event will be shared equally between the NeuroMuscular Centre and Seashell Trust. Both organisations provide specialist care and support to individuals and families across the region.
Celebrity Guests and Prizes
Guests included well-known sporting and television figures. Prizes were awarded throughout the day, including recognition for the 'Glorious 12th', 'Wooden Spoon' and overall team winners.
The event raised funds through ticket sales, a raffle, live auction, stand sponsorship and sweepstakes. Auction prizes included exclusive dining experiences, sporting hospitality and luxury experiences generously donated by local businesses.

Ged Mason OBE said: “This was the first event we’ve done and it was incredibly well-supported… It’s been amazing to raise this amount of money.”
About the Beneficiaries
The NeuroMuscular Centre supports people living with neuromuscular conditions through specialist physiotherapy, exercise and tailored services. The Seashell Trust provides education, care and support for young people with the most complex disabilities.
Both charities expressed their gratitude to organisers and supporters, highlighting the importance of fundraising events in sustaining their vital services. The day was made possible thanks to a range of sponsors and concluded with a celebratory dinner for participants and guests.
