Coaches Walk from Wembley to Dunton Bassett for Charity

A group of four football coaches have embarked on an impressive three-day walking challenge from Wembley Stadium. The team began their journey at 7am this morning outside the iconic national stadium. They are walking all the way back to their home ground at Dunton & Broughton United in Dunton Bassett.

Walking 30 Miles Per Day

The participants plan to walk 30 miles each day to complete the lengthy trip. So far, the dedicated team has already raised over £3,100 for two important causes.

Funds for Brain Tumour Research and Girls' Football

Part of the money will go to Brain Tumour Research through a special fund called Tays Tribe. The fund was established in memory of Taylan Kurtul from Broughton Astley, who tragically died from a brain tumour at the age of six. The remaining funds will be used to improve opportunities for girls to play football at the local club.
