WWII D-Day Veteran Celebrates 103rd Birthday with Support from Armed Forces Charity
Harold Fenwick, a Second World War veteran who participated in the historic D-Day landings on the beaches of Normandy, has joyously celebrated his 103rd birthday. Originally from Giffnock and now residing in Cyprus, Harold was among the thousands of British troops who stormed the Normandy shores on June 6, 1944, a pivotal moment in World War II.
